About Me

I’m Kendall, my pronouns are she/her/hers.

When I’m not designing, you can find me either on the couch playing a cozy video game or experiencing the outdoors. I love to hike with my dog (Lupin), garden, and go bird watching.

Out of college I was studying wildlife and veterinary medicine, but I hit a snag. The software I was using in clinic was outdated and not built for keeping medical records. In trying to find better software, I found myself researching what makes a good software experience.

Enter User Experience Design! I already had a love of video games and digital art, so creating user interfaces and micro-interactions in Adobe and Sketch felt very natural to me.

I've learned so much since then. Currently I'm working on adding Animation and Motion Design to my tool kit of skills.

What My Teammates Say About Me

Stuart Gordon

Lead Designer
“I enjoyed working with Kendall on the Sound Family Medicine website redesign. She took the time to listen and understand how the site is used by our patients and helped us clarify the best paths for their goals. She also kept a lot of moving parts organized and the project on schedule.“

Huda Malik

UX Designer
“Kendall is one of the most mindful and hard working user-centered designers I have met in the industry as well as an amazing teammate. In the two projects that I’ve worked on with Kendall in the last year, Kendall has proven to be an evidence-driven critical thinker. Not only does she pay attention to the details of the research that will impact product decisions, but she understands from a usability perspective how to apply her expertise, curiosity, and strategic-thinking to better understand users’ mental models in order to elevate the end user experience. I recommend to anyone who is considering bringing her onto their team not to pass up an opportunity to work with a dedicated and considerate individual like Kendall.“
